A nylon zipper gapping (length fixing) machine is a device used for manufacturing finished nylon zippers. Its function is to fix a distance on two ends of the nylon zipper chain by removing several pieces of zipper teeth.

Usually the distance for No.3 is 38~40 mm, No.5/7 - 40~45 mm, No.8 - 50 mm.

A nylon zipper length fixing machine usually consists of a length counting device, and a teeth cutting and removing mold. After gapping, the long chain nylon zipper will become a large number of gapping zippers (continuous, non-cut), then can proceed to following production process as stopper, slider mounting and cutting.
